My name is Felix Martinsson, I’m 24 years old and I live in Sweden.
I started acting when I was about 13 years old and fell in love with it almost instantly. I joined a workshop/local theater and stayed there for three years, then I switched to another place and kept on taking classes until 2013 when I felt I couldn’t develop more in this small town. I was ready for new adventures and wanted to find better, bigger workshops.
2013 was the year when I got into “acting for the camera”. Before this I had only done one job in front of the camera when I was 14, then after that only “stage acting”.
I bought my self a Canon 600D and started shooting my own short films and monologues and uploaded them on to YouTube. Later on that year I got my first role as an extra in a Web commercial for LUX, hair shampoo, followed up by a leading role as Dregen in the musical theater/revue “Hotel: Brag & Blaring” directed by Pierre Hagman (We rehearsed for almost a year and then did 14 shows with the premier on New Years Eve 2013/2014).
2014 was the year when I really started looking into acting for camera. I started getting a lot of attention thanks to my monologue “The Psycho Monologue” I had uploaded on to YouTube the previous year. Up until now I’ve done 25 different stage performances and 11 different film/video productions both professionally and non professionally. And I am still hungry for more.
The fall of 2017 was when I took a leap and left the nest in Sweden to go to live in Los Angeles. This is where I’m now working on pursuing my dream as an actor. I’m currently taking acting classes at UCLA Extension, and so far I’ve found it very successful. I’ve met a lot of people working in the industry and found a way to constantly working on my craft.
